Best VPS Hosting Services - Which One Is Best For Your Website.

What is VPS Hosting

A virtual private server is a virtual machine sold as a service by an Internet hosting service. The virtual dedicated server also has a similar meaning.

In this article i am going to tell you everything you need to know and lookout for when choosing a VPS Provider. How different hardware and configuration can actually impact your performance and why some providers are a lot better than others. I'll go over the best cheap VPS, The best VPS for beginners and overall the best VPS for the money you are paying.

But first you need to understand that not all Virtual Private Servers (VPS) are creating equally. Your VPS is essentially working on a very powerful and big computer, the better quality of hardware your VPS provider has, the better performance will be. Naturally you want providers to invest in the latest technology for the best possible performance. Problem is web hosting companies are extremely bad at disclosing the information when it comes to what type of hardware are they use for the VPS that they sell.

For example BlueHost just as they give you 2 Cores and 2 GB of RAM.

A2 Hosting says they give you 1 core and 500 MB of RAM.

And the DreamHost doesn't even show you how many cores you are getting.

And this information can be extremely misleading because 2 cores from a 5th gen processor as not same as 2 cores of 2nd gen processor. But if they not telling you how the hell you should know what type of hardware they are using. Well you would have to go ahed and ask them about it. Luckily for you thats what exactly i did. I spent a bit half of the month contacting the support, technicians, developers and companies to understand exactly down to the specific model of hardware they're using.

And what i found interesting is that most companies i contacted are actually running their Virtual Private Servers on hardware from 2013 or 2014. They use the intel XEON CPUs. However since the intel Xeon series have such large capital of slightly different processors. I rarely found the  that the two providers use the exact same once. However what type of disk storage SSD or HDD, Also RAM speed also had a big impact on performance.

So now when i have all of the necessary data the question is which providers have the newest tech for the lowest price good support and good customer experience.

When it comes to cheap VPS in my opinion A2 Hosting is offering the best unmanaged servers there is. There unmanaged plans starts on extremely reasonable 5$ per month and  run on intel xeon E5-2620 processors, clock speed of 2.4 Ghz it was released in 2014. One of the best features about A2 hosting is that for and extra cost they will allow you to tweak the settings of your VPS. Even you can choose if you want auto installer software or C-Panel are planned.

Most importantly you are able to choose your data centres. Meaning A2 hosting is set for world wide users not just go for the US. Choosing there are unmanaged servers will give you a full root access and you will able to manage your server. You also get access the SSD storage, SSH access and a dedicated IP Address to go which your server as well.

I've tested out of its performance and a simple wordpress website displayed loading speed is 1.1 second. With time to first byte is 0.3s. That is some serious speed and performance considering just 5$. Well A2 hosting has plan to choose your VPS server. I recommend you stick to them only if you need something cheap yet still go for mid or high end VPS there is some actually better solutions are available. But if you want some really cheap and good you can go ahed.
